Mission: Impossible - Fallout is the sixth movie in the Mission: Impossible franchise, and stars Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, Henry Cavill, and Sean Harris. This film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie who directed the previous film Rogue Nation. I was really excited to see this movie, especially when hearing all the praise around this film. After I saw Mission: Impossible - Fallout, I have to say that I was really disappointed with the movie. I've liked most of the Mission: Impossible films like the first movie, Ghost Protocol, and Rogue Nation. I did not like the second Mission: Impossible movie as well as the third film that was directed by J.J Abrams. With this film, the first act is really awesome, the second act takes all the awesomeness and amazement of this movie, and sort of rips it apart, and during the last act, everything about this movie goes way down hill. The acting by most of the cast was really good. The directing by Christopher McQuarrie was really poor, and goes to show you that it is better off that we get a different director for each of the Mission: Impossible films. The stunts by Tom Cruise in this movie were insanely good. The action sequences were mostly good, but during the last act of the final sequences the action got SO intense and batshit crazy that it kind of got a little bit ridiculous. The villain in this movie played by Sean Harris was again horrible, and no different to what he was in Rogue Nation. This movie feels like it is trying to be a mix of Skyfall in it's own franchise, while also trying to be just another regular Mission: Impossible sequel, and fails at both. One positive thing I will say is that the movie feels more immersive in IMAX. But afterall is said and done, Mission: Impossible - Fallout was a big letdown for me.
